Le mont Huang Shan , la montagne de Chine la plus vénérée , a joué un rôle très important dans l’histoire de l’art et de la littérature chinoise depuis la dynastie des Tang (8eme siècle).
Selon une légende datant de l’an 747, l’élixir d’immortalité aurait été découvert sur la montagne.
Pitons granitiques élancés, conifères aux formes improbables, brouillard mythique capricieux, le paysage change sans cesse au gré des vents et des brumes.
J'ai cherché les brumes et le graphisme des anciennes estampes chinoises.

Huangshan — often called Mount Huangshan — is the most revered mountain in China and has played a major role in the history of Chinese art and literature since the Tang dynasty (8th century).
According to a legend dating back to the year 747, the elixir of immortality was discovered on this mountain. With its slender granite peaks, improbably shaped conifers, and capricious mythical mists, the landscape constantly changes with the shifting winds and clouds.
I went there in search of the mist and the graphic quality of ancient Chinese ink paintings.
